Glendale
Glendale is a moderately-sized suburban community situated in-between Peoria and the metropolitan area in Phoenix. Glendale is also Arizona’s fifth-largest city and it is one of the fastest-growing communities in the entire state.
Glendale was originally founded during the 1880s by a group of settlers who set up irrigation systems in the area. About a decade later, the town officially came into existence when the Santa Fe Railway created a link between Glendale and Prescott. Glendale would continue to grow economically over the next century and it officially became incorporated as a city in 1910.
